Student Support Officer

We are seeking a Student Support Officer to join the Office of the Deputy Dean, Faculty of Creative Industries, Education and Social Justice.This position provides specialist consultation services to students, and assistance to the Student Support Coordinator, Student Support Manager, and the broader team in supporting student administrative functions for the Faculty at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. This position also supports information management and special events. The Student Support Officer is a front-line position and includes high-level consultation with prospective students, current students, academic staff, and other key stakeholders across the University and externally. It is expected that all team members in the Faculty will contribute to a culture where students, academics, and other stakeholders report that staff take the initiative to solve problems, make things happen, and deliver what they promise.We're offering this role as a hybrid position as part of QUT's commitment to embracing the opportunities created by a more virtual and connected world.About usQUT is a major Australian university with a global outlook and a 'real world' focus.
