Your Role Join IAG's Group Risk division as a Senior Risk Business Analyst and play a key role in delivering our Operational Resilience program. You will spearhead the development of future operating models across both Risk and the broader business, ensuring alignment with Prudential Standard CPS 230. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced analyst to work closely with key stakeholders, bringing together risk management practices across Operational Risk, Business Continuity, and Service Provider Management.
In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of operating structures, governance models, and supporting systems that enhance the resilience of IAG's services and safeguard our customers. You will conduct thorough analysis and collaborate with risk and business teams to ensure robust risk management practices are in place. Your responsibilities will include creating governance frameworks, establishing clear policy hierarchies, and improving reporting mechanisms to support informed decision-making. Additionally, you will play a vital role in driving service reliability and resilience across the business, all while demonstrating IAG's core values of integrity, collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
This role is a 9-month fixed term contract with hybrid working conditions, available at any IAG office across Australia with a preference for those located in Sydney or Melbourne.
About You To be successful in this role you'll bring:
Significant demonstrated experience in operating model design and implementation within a large corporate or management consultancy firm environment.Direct or consulting experience in Operational Risk, Business Continuity and Service Provider risk.Experience in Board and Executive reporting, with strong influencing, negotiating, and stakeholder management skills.Proven ability to define and shape strategies into tactical plans and manage risks effectively with proper controls.Adaptability to handle complexity, ambiguity, and change.High proficiency in presenting complex ideas simply, especially at a governance level.Knowledge of governance structures and reporting mechanisms within large organizations is essential.Ready to make your mark?
