AVADA Group provides services to government clients and major contractors in the civil infrastructure and maintenance sector.The roleAs the People and Culture Coordinator, you will join our team on a full-time basis at our Woolloongabba office and play a crucial role in supporting all people-related activities for our QLD Operations Teams.Reporting to the QLD P&C Manager, this role focuses on providing essential HR support to our people and serves as the first point of contact for internal and external people-related inquiries.Responsibilities:Managing the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and scheduling interviews for the QLD Operations Teams.Manage the employee onboarding process, including preparing new employee documentation, completing employment checks, conducting induction sessions, and ensuring a smooth transition.Maintain employee records and HR databases.Assist with the management of performance and conduct matters.Handle HR-related inquiries and concerns from employees with professionalism and discretion.Serving as a friendly and helpful point of contact for all human resource-related queries.Managing the P&C Inbox: Responding and directing HR enquiries.Assisting the National P&C team to roll out various initiatives.Qualifications:Experience working in a P&C team in a fast-paced environment.Qualifications in Human Resources or related field preferable.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.High attention to detail.Exceptional organisational and administration skills, including the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.Proficiency in MS Office suite.Enthusiastic with a growth mindset.Why work with us?Energetic and collaborative team culture.Career Progression and Professional Development Opportunities.Flexibility with start times.
