Job Title: Product Owner - Trade SurveillanceJoin Macquarie Bank Limited, a global financial services group operating in 34 markets, as a Product Owner - Trade Surveillance.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the Trade Surveillance system coverage and capabilities remain fit for purpose to meet regulatory requirements and internal risk assessments.
About the RoleAs a Product Owner, you will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology squads, providing direction and prioritizing Trade Surveillance requirements.
You will manage and maintain a prioritized backlog, ensuring surveillance leads, business stakeholders, compliance, and risk managers are fully informed of the Trade Surveillance product roadmap and Book of Work.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain a prioritized backlog of Trade Surveillance requirementsProvide direction to technology squads and ensure alignment with business stakeholdersEnsure Trade Surveillance system coverage and capabilities meet regulatory requirements and internal risk assessmentsManage day-to-day BAU operational support with incumbent trade surveillance platforms and troubleshoot across the global user baseRequirementsWe are seeking a highly experienced professional with a strong background in trade surveillance, risk management, and compliance.
The ideal candidate will have:
10 years' experience in a similar role within the banking and financial services industryExperience using industry-leading trade surveillance platforms such as Smarts, Scila, or ACA Trade SurveillanceStrong knowledge of listed products (exchange-traded cash equities, futures, and derivatives) and OTC products (commodities, FX, and fixed income)Experience working in an agile environment, driving technology squads, and managing multiple stakeholdersPrior experience in roadmap planning and prioritization, with the ability to balance tactical and strategic work to deliver maximum business valueAbout Macquarie Bank LimitedMacquarie Bank Limited is a global financial services group operating in 34 markets.
