Lead a CTP claims team to provide outstanding customer service and industry leading performanceCollaborate and engage with technical and injury management staff to identify and implement technical development opportunities for team members12 month opportunityThe purpose of this role is to provide purposeful leadership and direction to create a high performing team environment, providing oversight and management of operational/strategic activities in line with divisional objectives.
In this role, you will demonstrate the ability to manage positive relationships to co-ordinate activities; meet and maintain required standards and demonstrate continuous improvement in the execution of all business processes and initiatives.
You must provide outstanding leadership through role modelling, consistent coaching at all levels to strengthen skills and productivity; and drive activities that build team engagement and improves the customer experience.
What you'll do: Create a plan to drive performance of the team and/or create claims segment plan that delivers team results against the divisional strategyMotivate, develop, empower and engage team members to drive results and create a high performing teamManage day to day workflow; resources, productivity and efficiency, ensuring performance objectives are metMotivate team members to improve the claims experienceEmpower and engage team members to support their personal development desires.What you'll bring: Minimum of 5 years' experience leading a team of people or demonstrated abilities to lead and engage others (Desired)Personal Injury Claims technical experience (Desired)Working technical knowledge of business area however not the primary source of technical support for team membersFinancial knowledge sufficient to interpret and analyse reports relevant to area of responsibilityAbility to provide strong leadership to "lead' your team to achieve individual, team and divisional goals.Our culture: Working as part of Suncorp you will have access to an unparalleled range of job opportunities across insurance and corporate services.
