If you are looking for a change, this region presents an attractive beach-to-bush lifestyle full of activities and adventure for everyone.Work/life balance.Sunny location - close to stunning beaches.Newly established building with state-of-the-art equipment.Major Regional Airport.300 days of sunshine each year.ATTRACTIVE relocation packageSeveral high performing Schools.Total remuneration value of up to $528,432 p.a.Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) – Specialist Nephrologist (or equivalent).Work to assist the Director with the organisation, management and provision of specialist renal services as well as providing leadership to medical staff within the department and actively contribute to the multidisciplinary patient care team.The services include renal transplant (except acute transplant), acute and chronic kidney diseases, Dialysis (both haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis), Satellite dialysis units, Tele-health and in-patient and outpatient renal services.The nephrology team consists of 3 Nephrologists, 1 Advanced Trainee, 1 Basic Physician Trainee and 1 RMO. The Nephrology CME programs include weekly renal topic teaching and monthly histo-pathology meetings with Royal Brisbane Women's Hospital. Within General Medicine, there is specific expertise in Diabetes and Respiratory Medicine.
