Bexton Consulting is an Australian Owned and privately held IT consulting and recruitment firm.
We have consulting practices in the areas of Project Services, Cloud & Infrastructure, Data, and Digital Solutions & Platforms.
We have a recruitment practice that hires our internal consultants and also finds contractors and permanent staff for our clients.
Our goal is to be the supplier of choice to large corporations and government departments for external IT solution expertise and labour.
About the Roles The Bexton Data and Digital Solutions practices have two code migration projects kicking off next year – one database & ETL re-platform (From legacy ETL product to Airflow/Python) and one legacy code migration.
In both cases, we will be working with our client's teams who have extensive knowledge of their existing system.
We will use GenAI tools to assist in code migration, test data preparation and documentation generation.
Due to the fast moving nature of GenAI capabilities and tools, we are looking for engineers who have prior experience, but are also adaptable and flexible to learn and apply the most appropriate technology suite to the particular client technologies and environment involved.
We are looking for senior engineers with some GenAI project experience (particularly code migrations) and we are also looking for a couple of recent University graduates who have used GenAI technology as part of their degree or work experience.
As a consultant, it is important to have strong technical skills as well as good social, interpersonal and communication skills.
Team orientation is essential.
Key Responsibilities Design, Build, Test GenAI-driven solutions for code migration projects.Collaborate with Bexton and client teams to develop innovative tools and techniques.Analyse project requirements and tailor GenAI applications to meet specific needs.Keep up to date on advancements in GenAI and related technologies, applying a continuous improvement approach.Qualifications & Experience Solid understanding of Gen AI technologies and their practical applications.Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to diverse technical challenges.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Familiarity with a variety of technology stacks and methodologies.Why Join Bexton?
