Are you a privacy expert with a flair for strategy and leadership?
We're seeking an experienced Privacy Subject Matter Expert (SME) to play a critical role in driving privacy governance, managing personal information frameworks, and ensuring regulatory compliance at a strategic level.
This opportunity is ideal for professionals with management consulting experience who thrive in dynamic, results-driven environments.
?? Contract Details: Initial engagement: Day rate contract opportunity.
Transition: Converts to a 12–24 month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC).
Perfect fit for: Professionals with an interim consulting mindset, ready to hit the ground running and deliver immediate impact.
?? Key Responsibilities: Design and implement robust personal information management frameworks.
Ensure compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., Australian Privacy Act, GDPR).
Lead Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and advise on risk mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed privacy principles into organisational processes.
Develop and maintain privacy governance policies and guidelines.
Provide executive-level guidance and foster organisation-wide privacy awareness.
?? About You: Proven expertise in privacy management, compliance, and governance.
A strong blend of technical and strategic capabilities, ideally honed through management consulting.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience engaging at the executive level.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CIPP, CISSP) are highly desirable.
A proactive, results-driven approach with the ability to navigate complex, high-stakes environments.
