This full-time, permanent position involves developing and implementing strategic plans for the lifecycle management of the Council's fleet assets.
The role emphasises sustainable practises and operational efficiency, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services that meet community expectations.Key responsibilities include overseeing fleet and workshop maintenance, managing building cleaning services, directing metal fabrication workshop operations, and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
The Fleet Operations Manager will also monitor performance metrics to facilitate informed decision-making and continuous improvement.Candidate ProfileThe successful candidate will possess a strong background in fleet operations and project management as well as demonstrated experience in managing large asset portfolios.
