Description and requirementsCleaner - Regis Port Macquarie | Part-time & Casual Shifts Available We are looking for a meticulous and compassionate individual to contribute to the well-being of elderly residents in an aged care facility.
Someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment, ensuring the comfort and safety of our residents.
Working within a supportive and dynamic team, you will be provided with a challenging and diverse work environment, as well as an opportunity to make a real difference in the residential aged care community.
Duties & Responsibilities Ensure all cleaning requirements are met each shiftInteract with the residents in a friendly, helpful, and positive mannerPerform routine cleaning tasks in resident rooms, common areas, offices, and other designated areas of the facility, following established cleaning protocolsEnsure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene is maintained throughout the facilityReport any maintenance issues or concerns to the appropriate department for prompt resolutionAdhere to infection control policies and procedures to minimize the risk of infection transmissionFollow safe work practices and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as requiredCollaborate with other staff members to support a clean and comfortable living environment for residentsWhat we look for A passion for caring for othersAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamRespect for all people, regardless of background, age, gender, religion, ethnicity, or sexual orientationAbility to be well organized and work under pressure and timelinesTo work in residential aged care, you will need to provide satisfactory background checks, supply an NDIS worker screening clearance and flu vaccinations, and certification proofWhy work for us?
