The OpportunityDelaware North Australia is hiring a passionate and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at Perth Airport, with an exciting new outlet opening in 2025

As a Chef de Partie, you'll be responsible for overseeing a section of the kitchen, maintaining high standards of food preparation and presentation, and supporting the Head Chef in ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
What we offerFree staff car parkingDiscount on food & beverage purchases across our outletsAirport ASIC pass valid for 24 monthsReward and Recognition programLearning and career development opportunitiesBeing part of a global company opens doors to various possibilities across our network of Australian and international resorts, airports and stadiumsWe are accreditedto offer sponsorship to foreign applicantsWhat you will do?Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs and ordering food suppliesMonitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentationHighly skilled at minimising wasteDemonstrate a solid understanding HACCP and Food Safety standardsCollaborate with the Head Chef to establish, execute and evaluate food service standardsMonitor dish quality throughout preparation and presentation stagesAddress food preparation issues with managers, kitchen and waiting staffDemonstrate techniques and provide advice on cooking proceduresMore about youCertificate 3 in Commercial Cookery (minimum)Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchenStrong understanding of Food Safety and HACCP standardsExcellent time management and organisational skillsStrong team player with the capacity to work independentlyEffective and clear communication skillsCreativity and passion for food with a commitment to exceptional serviceThe ability to mentor culinary team membersSalary on Offer Competitive salary of $73,210Requirements Permanent full-time employment, minimum 38 hours averaged over 4 weeksFlexibility to a work a variety of shifts over a 7 day a week roster, covering weekdays and weekendsWho we arePerth Airport has been a pivotal hub for travelers in Western Australia since its establishment.
