About the role:The Analyst role is housed within our ever-growing data office and will play a crucial role within an important enterprise-wide data uplift programme. Liaise with the end users, Product Owners, business owners and the DevSecOps squad to ensure the business requirements are understood. Some of the responsibilities include:Analyse and collate data to support technical requirementsCreate specifications and acceptance criteria in preparation for the construction of technology systemsProvides high-level evaluation of requirements for technology programs and projects, which includes process re-engineering, cost-benefit analysis, recommended solutions and requirements developmentEngage with the business to prepare User Acceptance TestingDevelop documentation that correctly reflects current functionality, operating procedures and processesBe Impactful when you are applying:The aim of this cross-functional squad is to uplift data capability, modelling and governance across EnergyAustralia as we continue along our cloud data journey. This role will require some of the following competencies:Tertiary Qualification in computer science, information technology, business systems or other relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent significant practical experienceEffective gathering and management of technical business requirementsBroad knowledge of cloud data systems and products and experience in delivery of data projects (exposure to PowerBI, Redshift, Databricks, AWS & Azure DevOps a big plus)Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA), Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) or equivalent.Great written and verbal communication skills with proven success in communicating complex analysis across all levels within a businessExposure to DevSecOps delivery/environmentsHow to Apply:If you're ready to 'light the way' towards your next career move,Why Us:At EnergyAustralia, we are committed to providing an inclusive culture so our employees can bring their whole selves to work and have a sense of belonging.
