We are looking for a Team Leader to join our Community Participation team in Rosebud.
As a Team Leader you will lead, enhance and promote our skilled staff to continue to facilitate community inclusion for people living with disabilities through a wide variety of group activities
You will ensure our activities & programs are accessible and outcome focused and initiate and grow new social groups, to create community partnerships and opportunities for all
Lead a team of dedicated workers to deliver person-centred and active supports to clients.
About You Our ideal Team Leader will have: Experience in developing, leading & motivating a successful team in a day services environment The ability to build a positive and collaborative culture, as well as a supportive environment Strong commitment to the inclusion of people living with disabilities Excellent communication skills to liaise with staff, families, allied health professionals, and behaviour support specialists Basic understanding of NDIS funding Experience with conducting staff supervisions and performance reviews Ensure a high level of staff engagement You will need the following: Tertiary qualification in Disability, Community Services, or a related field; or a minimum of Certificate IV in Disability with substantial experience in the field Current First Aid and CPR training within 12 months.
NDIS clearance and current NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate or willingness to obtain.
