Platypus Shoes is a part of the Accent Group which is the largest footwear group with over 850+ stores, 34 brands and 30+ online platforms including; Glue Store, Platypus, Skechers, Hype DC, Vans, Dr. Martens, Subtype, The Athletes Foot, CAT, Merrell, The Trybe, Timberland, Stylerunner, Hoka, UGG, Saucony, & Nude Lucy
We are looking for a Store Manager to join us at our Platypus store in Karrinyup
This role will see you lead, inspire and coach a team of passionate casuals including the support from your Assistant Store Manager.
Driving Sales and KPIs, customer engagement and team member coaching and development.
This opportunity will see you work collaboratively with your Area Manager to identify areas of opportunity for your store and team in a high-profile space.
The role & responsibilities:
Ensure efficient operation of your store to achieve optimal results in sales targets, KPI's, store presentation, visual merchandising, stock levels, wage control and shrinkageMotivate your team to achieve optimal results in KPI's & added value targets across storesClosely monitor store sales to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly targets - acknowledge outstanding results and identify any areas of missed opportunityEffectively manage the wage costs in store, adhering to weekly wage targets and company rostering standardsCoach and mentor your team to maintain high team morale and encourage their individual development by ensuring training and succession plans are in placeEnsure efficient OH&S management and adhere to state and national OH&S legislationBenefits & Culture:

1 + years Retail Store Manager experience in a fast-paced environmentA motivated & driven 'Make it Happen' attitudeA passion for leading & inspiring a team to succeedThe ability to think strategically to identify missed opportunities and have a proven track record in driving sales and KPI'sBeing operationally excellent and experienced with stock control and visual merchandisingExperience with effectively managing a roster & wage controlAt Accent Group Limited we are committed to creating an inclusive workplace that promotes and values diversity and inclusion.
