Southport, Robina, Palm Beach and Mobile Dental Clinics
Deliver high level child, adolescent, and adult dental and oral health therapy services, providing day to day clinical supervision and support to less experienced dental and oral health therapists.
An opportunity has become available for an Oral Health Therapist – Senior (Team Leader) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12,000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will Demonstrate high level clinical expertise to provide clinical leadership and be a reference point within a teamActively contribute to service and caseload management and planning within the teamWork cooperatively and effectively within teams, patients, their families, community groups, other health professionals, supervisors, and studentsAccurately and concisely record all patient interaction as well as workload measurement statistics, to facilitate the analysis of service trendsAbout you
To be successful in this position you will require:
A tertiary degree (or equivalent) in Oral Health from a recognised tertiary institutionAHPRA RegistrationPossession of an appropriate User License issued under the Queensland Radiation Safety Act 1999Drivers LicenceEvidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Hepatitis BTuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be requiredDeclaration of serious discipline history must be disclosedCriminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)How to Apply
