Following an internal promotion, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to spearhead our multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with all departments to ensure alignment of engineering activities with overall business objectives.
Act as a key technical advisor to senior management and other stakeholders.
Provide leadership and direction for engineering activities within the company.
Develop and implement engineering strategies that support the company's goals and objectives.
Oversee the development and implementation of new engineering solutions.
Ensure that all engineering projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Oversee workforce and resource planning for the engineering departments.
Collaborate with department managers and Human Resources to address and manage people matters.
Work with Human Resources on recruitment initiatives.
Promote innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
Ensure technical compliance, quality, and coordination between departments.
Ensure compliance with contracts, procedures, tools, and systems for all engineering services.
Provide input into the strategic plan to assist with the growth of the engineering team.
Provide monthly reporting on the overall performance of engineering projects.
Report on and present project performance in executive and board meetings as required.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
Over 20 years of engineering experience within the resource sector.
Extensive management and team mentoring experience.
Strong understanding of technical compliance and quality control.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
The right to work in Australia.
