Electrical Superintendent Ghana Ecg Engineering

Electrical Superintendent Ghana ECG Engineering ECG Engineering are leaders in the Electrical Engineering space, delivering design and project delivery services to the Mining, Utilities, Materials Handling and Industrial sectors with extensive and proven capabilities in Australia and around the world.
With offices in Perth, Brisbane, Toronto, Manila & Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, ECG have the capability to design and deliver on complex projects, from early study work to commissioning and handover, drawing on the expertise of senior ECG personnel who have worked together for 30 + years.
We require an Electrical Superintendent to ensure efficient completion of works on a gold plant in Ghana, located approximately 380 kilometres northwest of Ghana's capital Accra.
ECG have been on the job from study phase, and need an Electrical Superintendent to bring the electrical package home.
Responsibilities: Manage daily work packs and provide supervision to all Electrical employees and contractors under your control.
Ensure all electrical statutory testing and maintenance is carried out and recorded as required by your appointment.
Ensure that data requirements for project controls are delivered consistently to site manager / project manager.
Accurate and timely reporting of all breakdowns to the relevant stakeholders.
Carry out investigations into electrical incidents and report to the relevant client representatives as required.
Essential Criteria (Mandatory): Electrical Trade Qualification Current WA Electrician's Licence WA Electrical Contractor License (Nominee) Minimum 5 years trade experience Minimum 5 years supervisory experience Valid drivers license minimum class C, HR advantageous High Risk Card - WP, DG, LF, CV Construction Card (White Card) Competent understanding of electrical schematics, isolation and permitting systems Demonstrated experience in all aspects of Electrical work Ability to read and interpret Electrical drawings, Schematics and Architectural drawings at a minimum Experience in computer based maintenance systems Strong commitment to health and safety Strong leadership skills and cultural understanding of remote work forces Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ideally, experience co-ordinating local work forces in Africa and/or the Middle East Desirable Criteria: Previous fixed plant mining experience Remote construction experience – ideally Africa Experience in construction of underground services Certificate 4 in Leadership and Management Working at Heights Training Are you the Electrical Superintendent we need to bring in a flagship gold project in Africa and be rewarded by a successful project outcome?
