UON Energy for Every Future UON is a Western Australian integrated energy company providing turnkey energy and water solutions to the mining sector and beyond.
Central to this is helping our customers on their decarbonisation journey utilising the technology, skills and real experience of team members across the business.
UON's business centres around the design, manufacturing, supply, construction and maintenance of remote, off-grid power and water infrastructure, with many of the products manufactured in UON's Malaga facility, based on proprietary and patented designs.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Manager Energy Solutions (Electrical Installations) to join our Energy team in Malaga.
Your main responsibilities will include: Project Management: Lead a team of Project Managers to oversee project risks, progress, safety, quality, and compliance through regular site visits and mentoring.Resource Allocation: Plan, allocate, and recruit resources to meet operational and project demands.Performance Management: Define expectations, conduct reviews, and support team development and coaching.Training and Onboarding: Ensure staff training, development, and effective onboarding processes.Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, costs, procurement, and asset utilisation to meet financial goals.Client Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.Compliance: Monitor adherence to organisational and client policies, addressing gaps as needed.Safety Leadership: Promote and ensure compliance with WHSE standards and risk management practices.Team Culture: Foster collaboration, inclusion, and high ethical standards across teams.Conflict Resolution: Address grievances and conflicts with confidentiality and impartiality.Knowledge Sharing: Share lessons learnt and contribute to organisational improvement.Skills & Experience: Tertiary engineering qualifications or electrical trade certificate with significant project execution experience.Strong client relationships through excellence in quality service delivery and financial management.A minimum of 5 years mining industry experience with a background in delivering electrical installation projects.Technical understanding of temporary Power Station installation and operations.Project management qualification (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or equivalent experience as a project manager.Experience in strategic planning, risk management, and/or change management.Experience in mining and resources sector-based water/energy projects.Proficiency in project management software and tools.Proven performance on successful projects exceeding a value of $5M+.What UON can offer you: A corporate Health Cover Plan exclusive to UON employees.Flexible working arrangements (Work/Life balance).Training and Development programs (apprenticeship, traineeship, internal training).Career development opportunities working with some of the best in the industry.A fun, active social club.Only those with the unrestricted right to work in Australia will be considered.
