What You Will Be Doing
The Health Information Manager/Clinical Coder works as a part of the coding team and is accountable for the provision of ICD-10-AM and ACHI coded patient data, participating in quality improvement activities, combined with maintaining professional links within Peninsula Health.
This position will ensure timely and accurate completion of coded inpatient episodes, meeting internal and external coding deadlines and participate in ongoing coding auditing programs that improve coding quality and optimises revenue results.

What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
Bachelor of Health Information Management or equivalent / higher qualification Excellent knowledge of clinical coding principals and standards Demonstrated auditing experience Recent clinical coding knowledge and experience using ICD10AM

*Please refer to salary circular ALLIED HEALTH PROFESSIONALS (VICTORIAN PUBLIC SECTOR) (SINGLE INTEREST EMPLOYERS) ENTERPRISE AGREEMENT 2021 - 2026 for salary range.
Sub-grading will be based on years of experience.
