The Opportunity : We have an exciting permanent full-time opportunity for a pharmacist to join our supportive and collaborative team as a Clinical Hospital Pharmacist at Slade Pharmacy Whyalla, located onsite at the Whyalla Public Hospital.
This is a unique opportunity for a pharmacist looking to gain some hands-on clinical experience in a dynamic hospital setting.
At Slade Pharmacy Whyalla you'll partner with an expert team of local staff and doctors, and be responsible for delivering modern, patient-focused pharmacy services to patients.
On your days off, enjoy the stretching coastlines, beaches, marine wildlife, turquoise seas, conservation parks and much more.

We also have a Friday shift available for an enthusiastic pharmacist looking to pick up some part-time hours on a 12-month contract.

Key responsibilities : Prepare Best Possible Medication History lists for hospital inpatientsConduct medication chart reviews and medication reconciliationDispense and supply medication and pharmacy productsCoordinate patient medication requirements for inpatient stay, day infusions and dischargeDevelop and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service to clients and patientsSupport patients, carers, hospital staff and associated employeesEducate and advise staff and customers on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection and the proper use of medicinesEligibility Requirements : Previous dispensing / clinical experience in an Australian based hospital or community pharmacy is essential.Who are we looking for? We are seeking a highly driven and team-oriented pharmacist who can deliver a high standard of customer service with sensitivity, compassion, and professionalism.
You will have high attention to detail and strong time management and prioritisation skills.
You'll : Be a current AHPRA registered pharmacist with previous experience in an Australian based pharmacy.Strong knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS).Have time management, communication, and teamwork skills.Be flexible and adaptable working with a diverse team.Embrace change and commit to learning.Value attention to detail and able to work autonomously.Ready to Take the Next Step?
