Are you an experienced Mental Health clinician with a background and interest in Child and Adolescent Mental Health? An exciting opportunity awaits you to come and join our team.
CAMHS is a specialist Mental Health service providing comprehensive assessments, advocacy, therapy and other specialist services for children, adolescents, young people and their families who are experiencing emotional, behavioural or social difficulties. We have a family multidisciplinary approach aimed to prevent, identify, treat and reduce the impact of these difficulties on children, adolescents and their families. We provide comprehensive acute/non-acute assessments and treatment for children and adolescents experiencing emotional, behavioural difficulties. We provide short to medium term therapy, generally with a family focus. Interventions may be individual, family or group within a recovery based model.
The CAMHS Mental Health Clinician is required to deliver outpatient treatment, providing specialist mental health services and tertiary consultation to children and young people in a community setting inclusive of other service partners engaged with families within a CAMHS setting.
The CAMHS clinician will facilitate, implement and evaluate care management pathways for patients with complex needs to appropriate services and support the service with implementation of service improvement initiatives.
