About the role
We are seeking an experienced and committed Finance Manager who will serve as a critical business partner to the Management team in Australia and NZ.
This role requires working in high-paced, deadline-driven environments to oversee and consolidate regional financial operations, ensuring standardized reporting and effective service delivery across projects.
What you'll be doing
Support and work closely with Chervon Group Finance team to ensure month-end closing process timely and accurate reporting.
Streamline and enhance budgeting procedures to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with strategic goals.
Support forecasting activities by analyzing historical data and market trends to improve budget reliability and financial predictability.
Present findings to business leadership with clarity and precision, offering actionable recommendations that contribute to the achievement of business objectives and enhance organizational transparency.
Participate in high-level financial discussions and strategic planning sessions, offering expertise on budget allocation, resource optimization, and financial risk assessment.
Serve as a key point of contact between the local finance team and group headquarters, facilitating clear and consistent communication on financial policies, standards, and objectives.
Provide support for various ad-hoc financial tasks if needed.
Be responsible for performance of local financial team.
What we're looking for
CA/CPA qualification with demonstrated experience in a similar Finance Manager role
Excellent financial literacy and experience
Proven experience with strategy planning and development, business partnering and relationship development
Strong leadership, communication, analytical, negotiation and influencing skills
ERP and/or accounting software experience
Experience working with Oracle is desirable
Strong commercial acumen, financial modelling, and data analysis skills.
High degree of accountability and accurate attention to detail
