We're currently seeking a dedicated SHEQ Manager to join our team.

About the Role The key objective of this role is to be the steward of the HBF Quality Assurance and Safety and Environmental management system covering product and processing technology at the site.
To establish, maintain and continually improve the local management systems and assist with the implementation and maintenance of Operational Discipline processes.
This involves active leadership, coordination, and participation in all relevant aspects of the site.
Responsible for the overall coordination and implementation of the Environmental, Health and Safety policies and programs to ensure corporate and local compliance.
PRIMARY DUTIES Develop, improve, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for QC and Work Instructions for QC equipment and processes.Responsible for day-to-day operation of the QC Laboratory managing and guiding two QC Chemists.Ensure that all elements of the Integrated Management System (IMS) meet and exceed ISO standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.Manage, develop, and enhance the Quality Management System, creating and refining procedures to align with our high standards.Serve as the compliance authority across all operations, embedding HSEQ principles within our sites and logistics teams.Engage and collaborate with senior leaders and clients on compliance issues, ensuring H.B.
Fuller's standards are represented at every level.Lead, mentor, and support the production team to foster a proactive, compliant, and safety-focused culture.Develop, implement, and manage KPIs to measure quality and drive corrective actions for continuous improvement.Prepare and deliver state-wide compliance reports to both internal and external stakeholders.About You: A seasoned HSEQ professional with 2+ years in a compliance role within construction, ideally with Tier 1 experience.Qualified in safety or quality management (quality preferred), with a solid foundation in ISO standards and auditing.Proven experience in client engagement, representing compliance interests and fostering trusted partnerships.A driven, adaptable leader with a practical approach and a passion for continual improvement and value-adding in a fast-paced environment.Lead incident investigations, identify hazards, and conduct risk assessments.Assist leaders in the effective implementation and communication of the health and safety policy, standards, programs, and procedures.Ensure safety systems comply with local legislation.Drive investigation on customer complaints on product quality non-conformances which may be related to production.Able to handle cross-department communication effectively.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Degree in Chemistry and or Chemical Engineering preferred.3-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment.2-3 years in a technical and or quality management position.Exposure and solid experience with ASQ ISO 9000 or ISO 9001:2008. #J-18808-Ljbffr
