Stockwell has a rich history of construction and development spanning over 72 years working in residential, commercial, retail and leisure projects throughout Queensland.
With an expanding pipeline of diverse projects across the State, Stockwell is seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator to join their growing team.
The position is based in West End, and travel to sites throughout Queensland will form part of the role.
We are looking for a candidate with experience in Civil works (subdivisions/infrastructure) and Building (Community Centres) for the Over 50's Lifestyle Resorts we create for our Solana business.
You will work with the Project Manager and the Project Team to understand project requirements and ensure subcontractors have all the information to take the risk out of their price prior to tendering.
Candidates with a Construction Industry background are mandatory, with qualifications in Contracts Administration, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management.
You need to be driven, results-oriented, a team player, a strategic thinker, and passionate, with a sound knowledge of current building and contracts practices.

The Role:
The role of the Senior Contracts Administrator requires:
An in-depth knowledge of construction methodology and procurement strategies.
Strong negotiating skills to drive the "best deal".
A passion for construction and the ability to manage both head and subcontracts.
An interest in value management and a steadfast approach to finding value for money.
Ability to work with Developers, Builders, Estimators, Design Managers, and Subcontractors.
Ability to hold people accountable and drive outcomes.
A driven individual who is looking for a career and welcomes the opportunity to take responsibility and commit.
You will be required to have experience as a Senior Contracts Administrator working for a Building Contractor with a minimum of 10 years' experience in the industry here in Queensland.
