We're seeking an experienced ICT System Engineer to join our team responsible for building, troubleshooting problems and providing excellent support for our clients across a range of services.
About the role:In this role you will be responsible for:
Understanding and supporting the delivery of CPL's Digital strategy.Collaborating with project teams to design and provision security, network and communications infrastructure in a complex, distributed environment undergoing major transitions.Undertake enhancement and remediation activities across the network and gateway systems.Monitor and support the network and gateway systems.
This includes Data Centre technologies, SSL Gateways, Load Balancers, Firewalls and IPS.Manage and monitor system upgrades, installations, integrations, customisations, configurations and testing new systems and hardware, and help resolve configuration conflicts and errors.Provide mentoring and assistance to other team members.Actively assess/contribute to the continuous improvement of work, standards, processes and methodologies.Be an active member in the change process and contribute to the peer review requirements of this panel.Create and maintain current documentation for all un-documented IT systems or work practices and provide these as training material to the greater IT team.Manage and maintain Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business.Configure and manage user accounts, licenses, and permissions within Office 365.Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure optimal performance and availability.Implement and manage security measures including data loss prevention (DLP) and multi-factor authentication (MFA).Configure, manage, and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.Perform regular network maintenance and updates to ensure system integrity and security.So why would I choose CPL?When you join our team, you can benefit from the following:

Degree, Diploma or Industry Certificate in an IT related discipline and/or experience in similar employment (Desirable).Relevant industry qualifications (VCP, MCSE, CCNA & CCA are highly desirable).Knowledge or experience with cloud and hybrid cloud solutions (desirable).A collaborative approach to developing solutions with other technology teams and the business users.Exposure to security standards, ISO27001 and Essential8.3+ years proven IT experience managing, designing, and implementing enterprise infrastructure systems.3+ years' experience in designing, implementing and maintaining the following applications and systems (SME targets):Microsoft CIS Suite Data Center;Microsoft Office 365 /Azure Cloud Service;Veeam Backup System;VPLS and VPN solutions;SD-WAN & SD-LAN technologies;Vulnerability Management;Scripting in PS, VBS, Batch file/CMD;PBX System Management;MDM technologies, particularly Intune.If you're passionate about making a difference and have the skills to deliver exceptional technology solutions, we encourage you to apply.
