Accounts Officer

Are you an experienced accounts officer or even an Assistant Broker that wants to move into accounts? Work within a successful national insurance group.GENERAL FUNCTIONS & TASKSWill be provided in detail at client interview but will include:Banking, processing (online, cheques, credit card) and bank reconciliations;Broker commission calculations and payments;Underwriter reconciliations and payments;Premium funding calculations, reconciliations and payments;Authorised representative commission calculations, reporting and payments;Any all other duties.RELATIONSHIPS & AUTHORITYReports to Group Accountant, Operations Manager and all other management staff. Has authority and responsibility for accurate and on time performance of all duties.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEYou will need to have good accounts experience associated with general insurance, preferably broking.TECHNICAL SKILLS/SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGEInsurance knowledge preferred, good excel skills essential.CLIENT OVERVIEWLocated in CBD fringes, they are a national broking firm with a number of authorised representatives located nationally.YOU NEED TO HAVE FULL AUSTRALIAN WORK RIGHTS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE.If you are ready to move forward with your career, we encourage you to apply now by submitting your resume through the advert or via the candidate portal on our website.
