This is your change to join our ML Ops Capabilities team, who are dedicated to working with emerging technologies to further automate and streamline our full cycle software engineering process with Agile, Shift Left and DevSecOps ways of working.
Our mission is to streamline the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle, ensuring robust and scalable solutions that drive business value - and you'll play a critical role in our vision.
As a Senior Software Engineer in quality engineering, you'll lead our testing automation and quality engineering strategy.
You'll evaluate our automation capabilities, collaborate with cross functional teams to identify further opportunities and drive the seamless integration of end to end automation into our development process.
This is your chance to use you're deep Python expertise and creative mindset to design and build "out of box" global leading automation solutions, ensuring our applications meet the highest standards of quality and security.
We're interested in hearing from people who:
• Are experts in Python, designing and building your own innovative automation testing frameworks and tooling.
• Will be the squad's "Quality Advocate," encouraging a critical thinking mindset and driving the prevention of defects over the detection of defects.
• Build robust test doubles to minimise dependencies.
• Influence product design, implementation and enhancement to support testability and quality.
• Automate basic real-time anomaly detection through services such as log monitoring.
• Are highly experienced in working Shift Left.
Tech skills
We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks.
We don't expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these will set you up for success in this team:
• Advanced Python coding, Python Libraries
• API and Database testing automation (Python and Blazemeter)
• Playwright
• Code repository & version control tools such as Git.
• CI/CD
• Behaviour Driven Development (BDD).
• Knowledge of Machine Learning tools is a plus.
