Provide leadership, development, and guidance to a diverse range of areas within the Operations Lead and direct Depot, Yard, Dock, Warehousing, Data Entry, and Manifesting Teams to ensure efficient order fulfilment and operational success in Perth.
Drive excellence in customer service through prioritizing safety, fostering a positive people and culture environment, optimizing operations, managing finances, and ensuring compliance.
Work within the Perth Operations Budget to meet the Operations West financial target, achieving a business profit result.
Ensure safe, cost-efficient, and reliable distribution of customer freight, with optimal utilization of company assets and minimal costs.
Be accountable for the overall performance and success of the business unit, maintaining high standards in operations and achieving operational plan goals in the West region.
Skills & Experience:
5 years + experience in Line Haul / Heavy Haulage / Oversize Perth / Supply Chain operations and people management Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members, other departments, and external stakeholders Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain or Business Management / or other relevant discipline, or extensive Perth Industry experience Strong leadership abilities to oversee and guide a team of operator, dispatchers, and other personnel A deep understanding of regulations, compliance, and safety standards Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), routing software, and other relevant tools Why Join Centurion?
