Are you ready to lead the charge in shaping cutting-edge technology for a dynamic industry?
As a Lead Software Engineer at Racing and Sports, you will hold a Senior Technical position, responsible for highly complex projects across multiple teams.
You are experienced and will drive technical vision, influence company-wide Engineering tactics, and ensure the successful execution of large-scale initiatives.
Your role involves technical leadership and strategic responsibilities, contributing significantly to Racing and Sports innovation and technical excellence.

You are a well-rounded individual contributing Engineer, architect and problem solver.
You consistently take new ideas from inception to production with limited supervision, bringing people along throughout the process, whilst at the same time providing clarity for our team.
You are trusted to autonomously lead people through complex technical problems and have a proven record of delivering ideas from inception to successful completion.

Responsibilities:
Lead a team of 5 - 6 Software Engineers from a technical perspective.
Deliver success through empowerment and accountability by modelling, coaching, and caring.
Lead and coach others in designing, testing, and securing solutions for products/solutions.
Working hands-on with your team and our customers from design through implementation of large-scale distributed systems, setting examples for good engineering practices and coding along the way.
Coaches the team on live service operations, issue resolution, and telemetry data analysis for system performance and functionality.
Continuously building your technical knowledge and improving our ability to deliver quality solutions by evolving our engineering process and technical capabilities.
What we're looking for
Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
Typically, 7+ years of professional experience within Software Engineering, including technical leadership roles.
Extensive familiarity with a variety of tools, frameworks, and programming languages (C# / Python / Go / Typescript).
Practical experience overseeing Software Development projects, including their conception, implementation, and completion.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the capacity to navigate complex challenges.
Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.
