Job Description: HiTH PhysiotherapistProvide expert care as a HiTH Physiotherapist, treating ortho, geriatric & respiratory clients.
Our physiotherapists ensure personalised care, enhanced outcomes, and a support system tailored to each individual's needs.

Remuneration: $54.76 - $56.54 per hour
Hours Per Week: 38 (Job Share may be considered for part-time hours)

Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Cumberland and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region.

What you'll be doing:
Hospital in the Home (HiTH) Physiotherapists are responsible for the assessment and treatment of HITH clients, with primary client groups including orthopaedic, geriatric and respiratory medicine.
The physiotherapists work within a multidisciplinary team and participate in a case management model, and are responsible for providing a high-quality physiotherapy service to the clients of HITH.
The Senior Physiotherapist is responsible for the efficient and effective performance of the HITH Physiotherapy Team.
In consultation with HITH Management, the Senior Physiotherapist will develop, implement and review guidelines, policies and procedures for the physiotherapy treatment of HITH clients.
The Senior Physiotherapist is responsible for the clinical orientation and supervision of Grade 1-2 HITH Physiotherapists and is expected to be actively involved in quality improvement activities and OH&S issues in relation to physiotherapy service provision and overall service development.

Essential Criteria: Licence: NSW Drivers licence Class CQualification: Tertiary qualifications in PhysiotherapyRegistration: Current AHPRA General Physiotherapy RegistrationSelection Criteria: Extensive postgraduate experience, preferably in both hospital and community settingsDemonstrated experience in staff supervision, as well as experience in the clinical supervision of undergraduate physiotherapistsDemonstrated skills in Physiotherapy assessment, planning and interventions for clients within community settingsDemonstrated commitment to professional development and demonstrated knowledge of, and experience with, Quality Improvement & Evidence Based Practice within the community setting.High-level written and oral communication skills, computer competence and ability to use electronic medical records, word processing and databasesDemonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a multidisciplinary teamCurrent NSW Drivers LicenceRequisition ID: REQ532358
