Seasonal Costco Epping - Service Deli Assistant Costco Wholesale - EPPINGSEASONALAM/PMPOSITION SUMMARY Prepares, packages, and labels meals, entrees, salads, party trays, rotisserie chicken, sliced meats, and cheeses. Prepares take-and-bake pizzas. Stocks and rotates merchandise in the display case. Maintains machinery and equipment. Provides prompt and courteous customer service to members, employees, and suppliers. Follows proper safety procedures and standards.
Job Duties/Essential Functions Dismantle equipment, wash, rinse and sanitise removable parts, equipment in Deli and Rotisserie roomsInspect and reassemble equipment, and address any corrective actions from the previous nightRe-work display case, filling and rotating merchandiseCompletes required department paperworkClean and sanitise work area throughout the day following sanitation standard operating procedures (SSOP) guidelinesComplete and comply with 11 commandments of Quality Assurance, food safety certification, department specific training and all safety training required by warehouse, service deli and rotisserie departmentComply with health code by following sanitation standards and maintaining proper temperaturesAssist with other departments of the warehouse as necessaryProvide and ensure prompt and courteous customer service to members, employees and vendorsStock and rotate supplies in cooler/freezerRemove rubbish from department and work areasOperates trash compactor and cardboard balerSkewer and load chicken into rotisserie ovensCook chickens as per SOP'sPackage, label and display chicken in hot holding cabinetAdhere to all departments SOP'sPrepares meat, poultry, cold meat, vegetables and seafood as per SOPAssemble platters, pizzas, sushi, salads, raw meats and other items sold in the Service Deli and Rotisserie departments.Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery Pressure washer, commercial dishwasher, combination heat/steam oven, warming case, shears, wheeled racks, proofing boxes, ovens, trash compactor, cardboard baler, pallet jack, blast chiller, air hose cleaner, step ladder.Qualifications (Costco-specific or industry specific skills that candidates should possess): Education/Training: High School Certificate or higher.Licenses/Certifications: NoneExperience/Skills: Kitchen Experience necessaryOther specific requirements: Must be able to work rotating Roster and weekendsMust have Full Working RightsFull COVID-19 vaccination or medical contraindications certificate* If successful, you will be required to undertake role & department specific training within specified timeframes Job Ref: AU2827W.000319
