About CentralsEstablished in 1985, Central Earthmoving is a dynamic earthmoving and civil contractor, delivering civil construction, mining services, and land care projects throughout regional WA.
We deliver quality performance with a focus on value, reliability, care, and attention to our clients' requirements.The roleAs a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, you'll play a critical role in supporting our onsite teams in performing planned, preventative & breakdown maintenance across our extensive fleet of heavy mobile equipment.To be successful in this role you'll have the following: Heavy Diesel Fitter trade qualification (essential).Experience working in a team in mining or construction environment.3 years' experience in repairing earthmoving equipment.Excellent diagnostic, fault finding, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance skills.Ability to assist with emergency breakdowns and provide on-call support when required.Forklift ticket and air-conditioning ticket (highly desirable).Enthusiastic attitude & high performing work ethic with a strong commitment to safety.High standard of cleanliness and organisation in the workshop.National Police Clearance and full Australian working rights.Why you'll love being a fitter at CentralsAt Centrals, we know that our success wouldn't be possible without the incredible team of people who make everything we do possible.
