The Role As the Investment Operations Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the organisation meets its regulatory and reporting obligations.
You will work across multiple areas of investment operations, including regulatory compliance, valuation monitoring, and operational due diligence.
Key responsibilities include:
Monitoring external investment managers' compliance with reporting requirements across various intervals (monthly, quarterly, and annually).Conducting operational due diligence reviews, including assessing policies such as business continuity plans, outsourcing agreements, and compliance with service-level agreements.Validating and monitoring valuation policies and practices to ensure alignment with industry standards and regulations.Preparing regulatory reports in line with requirements from government agencies such as the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority.Supporting the collation and reporting of investment fees and costs under industry regulations.Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient operations and regulatory compliance.Contributing to process improvements and ensuring all procedures are well-documented and accurate.About You You are an experienced investment operations professional with a background in financial services or superannuation.
You thrive in detail-oriented environments and have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
Your ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with stakeholders will be critical in this role.
To succeed, you will bring:
A minimum of two years' experience in finance, superannuation, or a related field.Demonstrated experience in regulatory reporting, investment fee calculations, and operational due diligence.Knowledge of financial regulations, including valuation standards and compliance obligations.Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using Excel to manage complex data sets.Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with a variety of stakeholders.Please contact Sarah Kennedy to discuss or apply below.
