Senior Investment Accountant

The Company This large sophisticated investment firm has a rare opportunity for a Senior Manager to join the Investment Operations team on a 12 month fixed term contract.
Reporting into the Head of Department, the Senior Accountant role focuses on managing the operational and reporting aspects of a global infrastructure portfolio.
The position offers an opportunity to work within a growing infrastructure investments team.
Starting as a 12 month fixed term contract there is a possibility this role could move into a long term position.
The Role Manage operational and reporting activities for the infrastructure portfolio, ensuring timely delivery of key outputs.
Prepare financial statements, including Balance Sheets, Profit and Loss, and Cash Flow, in line with global standards.
Handle annual tax returns, quarterly BAS, and other statutory and investor reporting obligations.
Upload trial balances to produce monthly management accounts.
Assist with audit planning and resolve queries efficiently.
Collaborate with treasury, legal, tax, and risk teams on strategic initiatives.
Maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders.
Leverage data analytics to deliver actionable financial insights.
About You Degree in Accounting/Finance, Business, Commerce, or equivalent.
CA or CPA qualified or nearing completion.
At least 5 years of post-graduate experience in funds management.
In-depth knowledge of financial and investment reporting, including standards and frameworks across multi-jurisdictional environments.
Extensive experience within funds management or within the financial services sector with exposure to funds management.
Confidence to interact professionally with senior stakeholders and clients, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
