(pro rata)TWO OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLEFull time - Term Contract until December 2025Part time - 30 Hours per week until December 2025About the Opportunity The position of Administration Officer reports to the Administrative Coordinator / Administration Manager and is responsible for providing administrative support and quality customer service to a range of clients for the Child and Family Health Service offices located at various locations state-wide.
This is an exciting opportunity to be familiar with all aspects of administrative duties required to support Child and Family Health Service clients by acting as the 'first point of contact' for both front of counter and telephone customers.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
Sound interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with consumers, staff, external agencies and members of the public, both face-to-face and over the telephone, demonstrating respect for different cultural groups and life situationsSkills to maintain sensitivity, integrity and confidentialityAn ability to effectively resolve conflict in the workplaceA flexible autonomous approach to workTyping skills that ensure timely and accurate data/information/documentsAn ability to quickly learn administration tasks and adapt to different working environmentsA demonstrated ability to multitaskAn ability to adhere to administrative boundaries, including directing inquiries to clinically trained colleagues as required.Your experience will include:
Working in a demanding frontline customer service position within a Health ServiceMaintaining general administrative processesMaintaining electronic and hard copy client recordsManaging appointment bookingsWord processing, data entry and Microsoft Office productsWorking effectively and harmoniously in a multi-disciplinary team environmentWorking independently with minimal supervision and within scope of practiceUsing initiative and the ability to prioritise competing demandsPrevious experience in a customer-facing health administrative role will be highly regarded.
