As the Principal Solicitor (Advice & Tribunal), you will provide specialist advice to the regulatory operational divisions on all aspects of the VGCCC's licensing, monitoring, and education approach.Who we are looking forTo be successful in these positions you will have:Significant experience in the conduct and/or management of multiple contested litigation in a complex environment (DA & Litigation).Significant experience providing advice particularly on the practical application of statutory interpretation, administrative law, the preparation and construction of legal agreements and instruments, including instruments of delegation (Advice & Tribunal).Comprehensive knowledge, experience, and proven superior ability (preferably in a regulatory environment) in advocacy and the provision of legal advice of an extremely high standard on complex and sensitive matters (both roles).Ability to handle a large workload involving complex legal matters within limited timeframes (both roles).What we can offerWe value our employees and strive to build a work environment that allows our people to achieve their full potential.
