About the role

Opposite Lock Cardiff is seeking a skilled and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our dedicated team in Cardiff, NSW.
In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a wide range of 4x4 and off-road vehicles, ensuring they are operating efficiently and safely.
What you'll be doing Performing routine servicing and maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, brake inspections, tyre fitting, wheel alignments, and fitting accessories such as bull bars, lift kits, and long-range fuel tanks.Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues, such as engine problems, transmission failures, and electrical faults.Conducting pre-purchase inspections and providing detailed reports to customers.Collaborating with the team to ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within set timeframes.Maintaining detailed records of all work performed and parts used.Adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.What we're looking for Trade qualification in Automotive Mechanics or a related field.Must have a pink slip licence.Minimum 3 years of experience as a Motor Mechanic, preferably in the 4x4 or off-road vehicle industry.Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve issues.Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.Good communication skills to liaise with customers and team members.Ability to work efficiently and effectively both independently and as part of a team.What we offer
