Responsibilities:As a Full-Time Mechanical Engineer at Interpack Pty Ltd, your role will be pivotal in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our manufacturing processes.
Key responsibilities include:

Design and Development: Design, implement, and maintain mechanical systems for our production lines, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Process Improvement: Analyze current manufacturing processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall production quality.
Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of all mechanical equipment, minimizing downtime and ensuring consistent production output.
Project Management: Lead engineering projects from conception through to completion, including budgeting, timeline management, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure all mechanical systems comply with relevant safety regulations and standards, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
Collaboration: Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure all products meet the highest standards of quality before they leave the facility.
Innovation: Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technological advancements to continuously improve our manufacturing capabilities.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the packaging or related industries.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems design, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory compliance within the manufacturing sector.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
