This pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to lead the development and support of key modernization projects.
In this role, you will work alongside a dedicated team and business analyst, driving the success of initiatives to enhance and replace core systems.

In this role, you will work alongside a dedicated team and business analyst, driving the success of initiatives to enhance and replace core systems.
Key Projects: Data Warehouse Replacement: Replace an existing complex data warehouse system, currently integrating with a Power Platform system, with a simplified Azure Synapse-based solution and .NET API.
Court Display Application Redevelopment: Modernize an existing Court Display application using contemporary programming languages and principles.
Court Listing Tool Update: Enhance a Court Listing Tool to consolidate and transform event information from various sources, integrating it with multiple consumer systems.
Key Responsibilities: Manage and administer Azure DevOps services, including pipelines, repositories, and artifacts for efficient CI/CD processes.
Ensure compliance with relevant standards and frameworks in all development projects.
Oversee source code management and iterative development of applications.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to produce design and architecture artifacts.
Develop and maintain technical specifications and documentation for applications.
Translate functional specifications and user stories into technical specifications.
Identify and address areas to reduce technical debt and improve existing and new applications.
Serve as a subject matter expert, providing support, guidance, and mentoring to team members.
Provide technical leadership to foster a culture of learning, growth, and delivery of high-quality solutions.
Skills & Experience: Microsoft Technologies: Proficiency in development languages and tools including Dynamics 365, Power Platform, .NET Core, C#, Web API, and Visual Studio.
Azure Cloud Services: Hands-on experience with Azure services, such as Azure App Services, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and Azure SQL Database.
Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes.
Azure DevOps: Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
Strong understanding of source control practices with Git.
Database Development: Proficiency in SQL Server for database design, development, and optimization, including writing complex SQL queries and using ORM tools like Entity Framework.
API Development: Skilled in building and consuming RESTful Web APIs, integrating with third-party services, and implementing secure authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT).
