We feed people around the world with safe, sustainable and wholesome protein.Australian Country Choice promotes a culture of accessible leadership, work-life balance and a healthy positive wellbeing where you can be your genuine self.We're hiring for a Project Engineer, who'll be based at our 40-hectare primary processing site in Cannon Hill.The RoleReporting to our Engineering Manager, and part of a larger Maintenance team of 56, the Project Engineer will be responsible for identifying, analysing, and implementing engineering projects to enhance product quality and operational efficiency. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in quality assurance, process analysis, and project management. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies that align with the organisation's quality standards and continuous improvement goals. This position also involves a hands-on approach to executing improvements in production processes.The PersonStrong communicator with a drive to deliver quality engineering project outcomes efficiently and a passion for continuous process improvementCompletion of tertiary study in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Chemical, Automation or equivalent relevant experienceProject Management experience, including developed analytical and budgetary skillsExperience working in food manufacturing environment – preferredProven track record in delivering results by working with cross-functional teams, experience in managing and leading teamsExcellent communication and presentation skills and a proven capacity to influence and negotiate to drive high standards of performance and qualitySelf-management following defined KPIs/Objectives, and proactively tracking themA Family-owned success story with family values across our teamsFuture development and promotion opportunityA culture of achieving goals at pace – your success gets recognisedOur customers come from all walks of life and so do we.
