Leonardo International Helicopter Division performs research, design, development, production, customer support and marketing of Leonard's extensive range of products; modern helicopters and tiltrotors for civil, parapublic and defence applications.
The Division manages the entire helicopter development and production cycle.
Production and assembly plants are concentrated in Italy, UK, Poland and the US.
The AW139, AW169 and AW189 models are part of a family of new generation helicopters, all featuring the same design philosophy and the same certification and safety standards.
Leonardo Australia is the Australian subsidiary of Leonardo International, offering full support services including engineering and maintenance including logistics management and other related support functions.
Helicopter activities include helicopter gearbox overhauls in our state-of-the art MRO facility.
We also perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, aircraft modifications and deployed support to customer maintenance activities.
Our typical customers work in emergency services, offshore operations, in both government and private sectors including defence.
Leonardo Australia has two key divisions, Helicopters and Electronics.
About the roleWe are seeking a Store Person (2-5 years experience) for our Essendon Fields Warehouse to organise and manage the physical dispatch, receipt and internal movements of all stock relating to our Helicopter business.
Acting in a safe and efficient manner with a focus on upholding OH&S standards and providing excellent customer service to our Helicopter Team.
The role will also be responsible for maintaining quality inventory controls, record keeping and stock take activities.
In addition, the role will be responsible for monitoring and management of all stock movement.

On-site parking.State of the art offices and facilities.Access to EAP.Personal development opportunities to grow in a diverse, inclusive company.Key Responsibilities Include:Organise and manage the physical dispatch, receipt and internal movements of all stock.Acting in a safe and efficient manner with a focus on upholding OH&S standards and providing excellent customer service to our Helicopter Team.Responsible for maintaining quality inventory controls, record keeping and stock take activities.Responsible for monitoring and management of all stock movement.Responsible for Inventory control including stock-takes and equipment audits.Qualifications, Licenses & Clearances:Hold a current Fork Lift (LF) licence.Hold a current drivers license.Clean National Police Clearance, or ability to obtain.Relevant logistics, IT/data input, systems & warehousing AQF certification.Required Skills & Experience:Receiving and dispatch of goods, physically and electronically.Preparation of freight documents and core returns to manufacturers.Maintaining accurate parts records and files in line with regulatory requirements.Quality control and inspection of parts.Computer literacy & data entry, with previous experience using SAP.Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook).Flexible to work across weekends & public holidays (as required approx.
1 weekend a month) on a rotational roster at both Essendon Fields & Port Melbourne sites.Experience in Aviation warehousing environment or similar industry would be advantageous.If you are looking to take the next step in your warehousing/logistics career, please apply now, submitting a covering letter and resume.
