The Opportunity In this critical role, you will manage and optimise the procurement of indirect category spend that supports the company's operations.
Your expertise in indirect spend category procurement will contribute to enhancing efficiencies, reducing costs, and building strong supplier partnerships.
You will be a part of our team based at our state-of-the-art Oceania HQ facility in Kemps Creek, reporting to the National Purchasing and Logistics Manager.
Key Responsibilities Develop and implement sourcing strategies that achieve cost savings and efficiency.Extract and analyse data from SAP and other systems to build comprehensive spend profiles and savings plans.Partner with key business stakeholders to define procurement needs and develop and execute collaborative savings plans for indirect spend categories.Identify opportunities for multi-site or national procurement arrangements.Lead competitive tendering processes to select and engage the best suppliers.Negotiate commercial supplier agreements aligned with company objectives.Manage and maintain supply and property/equipment lease agreements to ensure compliance and timely reviews and renewals.Monitor supplier performance and compliance to drive improvement.Conduct regular market reviews to ensure market data and strategies remain current.Measure and report benefits from procurement activities.The Ideal Candidate Will Possess Demonstrated experience in procurement, particularly in indirect spend categories.Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools like SAP and spend analytics.Expertise in contract negotiation and supplier management.Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally.Proven ability to drive cost savings and deliver on performance targets.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently.Apply Today At Ardex we aim to recruit, develop, and retain our employees.
