Start a new journey with us We are looking for a Clinical Nurse Case Coordinator to join our team.
In this Monday – Friday service, you will contribute to the achievement of national elective surgery targets and Queensland Health's elective surgery targets for West Moreton Hospital and Health Service.

See link – Queensland Health Workforce Attraction Scheme ( working-for-us/workforce-attraction-incentive-scheme ) Clinical Care Coordinators in Elective Surgery and Bookings Unit provide comprehensive planning and care to patients and their families who are waiting for elective and emergency surgery at Ipswich Hospital.
Clinical Nurses in this unit possess advanced planning and coordination skills in establishing structures and systems that support change and innovation, working in collaboration with the Elective surgery Booking Officers and the interdisciplinary team to achieve high quality patient outcomes, valuing nurse contributions and supporting patient advocacy practices.
About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge in the area of Surgery and Perioperative Nursing delivering expert nursing care in complex situations while providing support and direction to other team members.Ability to prioritise clinical and related administrative duties, including effective and efficient planning and organisation of complex caseloads with proven ability to use information and reporting systems appropriate to the position.Demonstrated ability to role model excellent standards of comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care and documentation to facilitate quality patient outcomes, in accordance with National Safety and Quality Health Service and professional standards.Demonstrates honesty, integrity and respect for all patients, carers and staff.Demonstrated ability to coordinate staff and manage delegated resources including prioritising needs and supporting day-to-day changes.Demonstrates a strong team commitment through ability to provide clinical education and support at an advanced level.Mandatory Requirements: Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO.
