Estimator Construction - high end $4-15M luxury residential builds across Sydney5 day working weekPermanent or ABN opportunityEstimate new construction, structural refurbishment tenders, cost plans and co-ordinate sub-contractor quotesAnalyse and breakdown projects to develop scope of works.
Engage with sub-contractors and suppliers to negotiate best tender outcomes.A good network of sub-contractors and natural ability to negotiate with a competitive edge.Work alongside our project team for methodology and program.Create and manage the sub-contract database across all trades.Negotiate contract prices and conditions.Manage and maintain relationships with architects and client side project managers.Assist in post-tender trade procurement as required.Excellent salary package up to ….. per annum either salaried or ABN.5-7 years minimum experience in estimating and cost planning in the construction industry.The Role & Business The growth of client and architectural relationships has provided the opportunity for a new estimator to join our dynamic team.
As the Estimator, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of multiple estimates and cost plans of Sydney's high-end homes designed by Australia's leading architects.
You will work with our Director to determine estimating strategy approach and estimating implementation.
You will be required to efficiently manage the assessment of RFTs, call trade prices, create scope of works and client engagement whilst working closely with our front end delivery team.
We typically deliver luxury residential projects in the $4 - $15M bracket and are well resourced with over 15 permanent staff in the business inclusive of Project Management & Contracts Administration support.
Qualifications & Experience 5-7 years minimum experience in estimating and cost planning in the construction industry.Experience with MS Office and Buildsoft.Skilled in understanding & scoping out RFT opportunities.Strong communication and relationship-building skills to liaise with all stakeholders including clients, consultants and the internal project team.Excellent organisational and time management skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
