Cluster Reservations Manager

Company Description Mercure Perth is centrally located in the heart of Perth city, close to major shopping, entertainment, and nightlife areas.
Our hotel offers 239 elegantly designed rooms, along with a signature restaurant, a café, bar, heated rooftop swimming pool and gym.
With 6 state-of-the-art meeting rooms accommodating up to 350 delegates, we provide comprehensive services for both leisure and business travellers.
Job Description As the Cluster Reservations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the reservations team to ensure exceptional service delivery and optimise occupancy rates.
Key responsibilities will include:
Overseeing reservations operations, including booking processes, group reservations, and room allocationEnsuring guest inquiries and bookings are handled efficiently and courteouslyAnalysing occupancy trends and collaborating with revenue management to maximise room revenueTraining, mentoring, and managing the reservations team to achieve performance goalsLiaising with front office and sales departments to ensure a seamless guest experienceAssisting with VIP and special request arrangementsMaintaining accurate records of guest preferences and booking detailsYou will demonstrate a proactive approach to service and an ability to foster an engaging and positive team environment.
Qualifications The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, along with:
