Make a Real Difference Every DayAbout the roleAs a PCW, you will deliver quality resident-centred care at all times attending to the personal needs of residents.
This is a rewarding, hands-on role that will give you the opportunity to positively impact the lives of our residents.
We currently have CASUAL opportunities, with various shifts available across a fortnightly roster, for PCWs to join our team
Your main duties will include:Support residents to live the life they choose allowing them to exercise choice and independenceContribute to the physical, emotional and lifestyle needs and wants of the residents, through assessment and observationImplement clinical and care interventions as delegated by the Registered Nurse, and as documented in the resident's plan of careAssist the residents with their personal care and hygiene needs whilst encouraging their independenceAbout youCertificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalentA passion for working in Aged Care and a sound understanding of the sectorStrong interpersonal and communication skillsCurrent Covid-19 vaccinations including booster are mandatory unless assessed exemptA desire to join a team committed to the care of othersWhy work for Calvary?At Calvary, our staff matter.
