About the opportunity The HR Advisor works closely with the HR Manager and is part of the People, Culture and Safety MJH team.
The focus of your role will be to work closely with our MJH Group leadership team and employees to provide quality support and advice across all aspects of the employee life cycle including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, inductions, performance management and offboarding.
More specifically, you will:
Ensure compliance and advice in line with company policies, procedures and guidelinesProvide timely and accurate advice and solutions are provided in relation to day-to-day people related issues that may ariseManage headcount and obtain approvals for the recruitment requisitionsSupport new employees through their onboarding experience to ensure a smooth and seamless start setting them up for successMaintain accurate employee recordsSupport HR process improvement initiativesAbout you You will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values; better together, be accountable, people matter and think bigger.
In addition, you will have:
Knowledge of HR best practices, legislation and complianceThe ability to build trust and rapport with internal and external stakeholdersCapable of influencing and adapting your approach and communication to each individual situationInitiative, practical problem-solving skills and confidence in your communication skills both written and verbalTertiary qualifications in HR or relevant discipline however your practical and hands-on experience within HR will not be overlookedModel the organisation's valuesWillingness to travel across NSW to support the wider MJH Groups offices on demandInterested? The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening and depending on the inherent requirements of the role, may involve the completion of a National Police Check and pre-employment medical.
