Our client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in their Digital Enablement Program and the Content Services Platform project. The successful candidate will have the chance to investigate opportunities for process improvement, ensure legislative obligations are considered within the context of enterprise digital solutions, and produce high-quality documentation.Opportunity to work on strategic initiativesCollaborate with technical and business stakeholdersContribute to achieving value for money outcomesWhat you'll do:As a Senior Business Analyst, your role will be integral to the success of the Digital Enablement Program and the Content Services Platform project. You will be responsible for gathering requirements, conducting workshops, eliciting critical information from stakeholders, investigating process improvement opportunities, ensuring legislative obligations are met, identifying issues and risks, producing high-quality documentation, and managing tasks. Your ability to work both independently and as part of a team will be crucial in this role.Gather requirements and conduct workshops for implementation of workflow automation and correspondence management.Elicit, validate, and analyse critical information from business and technical stakeholders.Investigate opportunities for process improvement in areas of complexity or to relieve business process pain points.Ensure legislative obligations are considered within the context of enterprise digital solutions.Identify issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outline business impacts.Produce high-quality documentation i.e., business, functional, non-functional, and transitional requirements.Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.Manage tasks, working autonomously or as part of a project team.What you bring:The ideal candidate for this Senior Business Analyst role will bring a wealth of experience in performing business analysis activities on large scale complex ICT program/projects. You will have demonstrated experience leading business process and system modelling activities using Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN) or Use Case development utilising Unified Modelling Language (UML). Your ability to investigate complex business situations, facilitate stakeholder input, work independently, and manage stakeholder relationships will be key to your success in this role. Experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence is also essential.Demonstrated 10+ years of experience performing business analysis activities on large scale complex ICT program/projects, preferably in the public service sector with SharePoint, M365, D365, Document & Case Management Solutions & EDRMS.Ability to investigate business situations where there is some complexity and ambiguity.Experience facilitating input from stakeholders, providing constructive challenge and enabling effective prioritisation of requirements.Experience working independently and acting as a single point of contact by developing, maintaining, and working to stakeholder engagement strategies and plans.Experience investigating enterprise requirements where there is some complexity and ambiguity.Stakeholder management, communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.Experience with tools such as Jira and Confluence to manage requirements and project documentation.What's next:Ready to take on a challenging yet rewarding role?
