About IOPSPerth City Square is home to BHP Iron Ore's state-of-the-art Integrated Operations (IOPS) at Iron Ore. Our Control Centre operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week using advanced, real-time technology to enable visibility and control, across the entire Iron Ore supply chain.
As a technology enabled centre of excellence, IOPS employees work collaboratively with site on a shift-to-shift basis to make faster decisions improving safety and optimising value across the supply chain.
Within IOPS, you will work with passionate, innovative and results driven individuals who bring the best of themselves to what they do.

About the RoleWe are currently seeking an Analyst AHS Control to join the AHS Eastern Control team on a Lifestyle Roster based out of Perth - 4 Days, 5 Off, 5 Nights, 4 Off, 5 Days, 5 Off (Rotating).
As part of IOPS and reporting to the Supervisor AHS Mine Control, the Analyst AHS Control will support the department on day-to-day operations.
You will take an active role in ensuring compliance to schedule and operating philosophies, driving a culture that not only conforms to company safety standards, but also seeks to continuously improve operating efficiency and realise cost benefits.
Some of your key responsibilities will include: Build on the team's safety, culture, and performanceReview and optimise mine model on daily basis to improve truck performanceRun tactical implementation plans to improve system functionality and optimise workflow interfaces between control and siteLiaise between site and control to communicate key control system issuesLiaising with team in ensuring that the Control System is setup in line with current AHS Mine Control Team standardsCreate dashboards/reports that identify performance gaps and track selected KPIs for crew performanceProvide detailed analysis on incident investigations and safety eventsAbout YouPositive & supportive attitude that contributes to a great Team cultureSafety focused; results driven desire to continually strive for benchmark resultsExtensive Mine Control or System Builder experience using Minestar Command systemClear communication skills with ability to present to senior leadership, internal and external stakeholdersHigh level of computer literacy and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyHave a collaborative approach, with the ability to engage and influenceStrategic, forward thinker with the ability to perform in a fast paced, dynamic work environmentExperience in data analytics & problem solvingWhat we offer Competitive Salary + Great Company BenefitsEven Time Lifestyle RosterSafety focused, Inclusive work environmentGreat opportunities to Develop & Grow your CareerThe opportunity to work with a high performing Leadership Team that is Motivated, Passionate & SupportiveAbout Our ProcessAt BHP, we are committed to employing individuals who align with the BHP Charter Values and meet the requirements of the role.
