Our AHS technology has delivered proven benefits in safety, productivity, and system flexibility in an array of mining environments.We are now offering several opportunities to trades personnel who are eager to develop their skills on our Autonomous Trucks & Systems.
These roles will enable the successful candidate to gain exposure & training in the field of automation and develop a long rewarding career with Komatsu.You will provide a high level of customer-facing support for AHS and be committed to continuously improving the support of the Autonomous Haul System.
This role will be supported by our skilled team of engineers in our 24/7 support centre.Role Located: FIFO to Pilbara ex PerthRoster: 8/6/7/7 – days/nightsRemuneration: Base Salary + Zone Allowance + Super + Bonus + Phone + on-the-job training and access to unlimited training coursesKomatsu Benefits:Families Policy: 16 weeks of paid primary carer parental leave, 4 weeks of secondary carer leave, plus many more family-friendly benefitsFinancial: Company funded Income Protection InsuranceCareer: Recognition, awards, flexibility, further education studies and internal career developmentHealth: Corporate discount with Bupa, Total Wellbeing Solution with Telus HealthTravel: Discounts with Avis, Qantas, Crown, IHG and travel agentsYearly Bonus: Potential to receive a yearly bonusReferral Program: $3000 referral payment for referring a successful new employee to KomatsuWhat we are looking for:Possess a trade qualification such as either of the following or equivalent:Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalentCertificate IV in Engineering MechanicalCertificate IV in ElectrotechnologyCertificate IV in Aeroskills EngineeringExpertise in troubleshooting complex mechanical and hydraulic systems with precision and efficiency.Thorough skills in reading and understanding detailed hydraulic circuit diagrams.Strong ability to analyse and work with electrical schematics for system troubleshooting and maintenance.Familiarity with wireless communication technologies and their practical applications in industrial settings.Awareness of Common Operating Platforms, including command and control systems relevant to automated or heavy machinery operations.Basic comprehension of the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model and associated layers, along with their relevance to system communication.Prior experience in servicing and maintaining Komatsu machinery (preferable but not mandatory).Skilled in fostering productive relationships with both internal teams and external clients.Ability to perform effectively both independently and as part of a small, dynamic team.Dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service, consistently promoting Komatsu products and solutions.Strong commitment to HSE, always demonstrating safe working practices and behaviours.Ready to get started?
